with Matthew Taylor

Summer 2010 Course:  MOZART - THE CONCERTOS

Since 1991 Matthew has been running a series of music appreciation illustrated talks at Blackheath Halls. Each term is devoted to one chosen subject, usually the works of one composer, group or theme in which Matthew illustrates at the piano and plays recordings.

The next 10 week course has talks on Monday mornings from 10am to 12 noon in the Recital Room at Blackheath Halls. The course runs from:
Monday 12th April to Monday 28th June 2010 (except 31st May).

The course fee is £65 payable at the first session. Newcomers can have a taster for free.

Course Description

Mozart was the most prolific and multifaceted creator of concertos: piano (27), double and triple piano, violin, all four woodwinds, horn and flute and harp. Matthew Taylor will trawl through and illustrate the highlights of these great works.
